If you have a ring that fits you well, you can use it to measure your ring size by using a ruler or measuring tape to find the inner diameter of a ring in millimeters(mm) and compare it to a ring size chart.

Cut a strip of paper about 1 centimeter wide and long enough to wrap around your finger. Wrap the paper or string around your finger snugly but not too tightly. Mark the point where the paper or string overlaps. Measure the length of the paper or string from the mark to the end. Subtract 2 millimeters (mm) from the measurement. The remaining measurement is your ring size in millimeters. Compare this measurement to a ring size chart to find your corresponding ring size.

Note: 1 centimeter (cm) = 10 millimeters (mm)

This method is an approximate way to measure your ring size. There may be some slight variations, so it is recommended to measure your size more than twice for greater accuracy. Finger size can vary depending on temperature or weather conditions which cause your fingers to shrink or expand slightly. For example, if you are in a very cold air-conditioned room in the morning, your fingers may shrink slightly because your body temperature is still low. Therefore, it is recommended to measure your ring size in the afternoon when the temperature is normal.
